Yes, hearing and vision aids, as well as vision correction through surgery or laser, are covered, but only for medical emergencies.

Are work-related injuries covered?

Yes, work-related injuries and illnesses are covered by law, as per Federal Law No. 8 of 1980.

Are pre-existing conditions covered?

Yes, pre-existing conditions are covered after a 6-month waiting period.

Does the waiting period apply to all treatments?

No, the waiting period applies only to inpatient treatments for diabetes, heart disease, COPD (lung disease), cancer, neurosurgery, stroke-related conditions, and all delivery cases.

What if I was already insured without a break in coverage?
