Upon visiting a medical provider, we request you to identify yourself by presenting your Daman Card before any required medical service is rendered by the medical provider.

Daman’s pre-authorization approval is required for the following outpatient services:

• MRI, CT Scan & Endoscopies
• Physiotherapy
• Prescription drugs above AED 500

Before or after the treatment, you will be asked to settle co-payment if applicable. Co-payments are shared payments according to the specifics of your respective health insurance plan.

In addition, you will need to pay to the medical facility, upon receiving the treatment, all the medical expenses which are not covered under your health insurance plan. The medical facility will provide you with the respective information.

Before you leave the medical provider's facility, Please make sure that you sign the medical expenses form prepared by the provider. If it's minors who have received the medical services, their guardians are authorized to sign the form on behalf of the minor.
