VIPmed almeda is the Second Opinion Service provided by Daman in co-operation with ArztPartner AG, which is owned by Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG (DKV), the biggest European private health insurer.
VIPmed almeda provides access to the ArztPartner almeda network of top renowned medical experts in Europe to obtain a second opinion in diagnosis and treatment recommendations for specific diseases. The VIPmed almeda network consists of over 70 reputable medical experts, where only the top 3-5 regarded experts within their respective fields are selected to be part of the network. This selection process guarantees a higher quality of service for Daman’s customers. The Program is available for 20 different types of major diseases.
